So, a BMW wanted to get in my Corsa!!

This morning on the way to work I had a charming BMW driver hit the back of my Corsa!! He decided, unlike me and the Audi in front, he didn't want to stop at a red light but I got in the way!!

I'm okay, Corsa will need new rear bumper and number plate, but he has buckled his bonnet as well as his bumper.

Total tosser!!

Lets just hope he's insured.
Now prepare yourself for the barrage of personal injury phone calls you are going to get!

Yes i had loads of them, and recently after 12 years got another load for about a month. They say are you sure you dont want to claim, you can earn thousands, they pleading for you to claim, what sort of corrupt world do we live in!?!?!,

Glad you are ok though Sarah.

Talking of claims though, when the guy went into the back of us - I really (and I mean it!) hurt my neck but the funny thing is that Dave had a bad back and the accident made it better :) :) :)

Opps miss read the the headline lol,:becky:

Glad you ok we all missed you not coming on the forum, hope you took plenty of photo's of both car's and road lay out? hope Dan is looking after you shock and all that,

I'm okay, just worried as it's only insured with a value of £500 (later found out it's worth closer to 1k) it could be written off and I'll actually be worse off. Just spent £200 on it 2 weeks ago on a full service. Guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.

If they give you £500 you can always buy it back and repair it. Or not repair it if it's road worthy as it is.
There is a crash repair place in Waterlooville, Clarks knows the guy and said to say they sent you there. Even just to see what the real damage is.

I might just take it down there tomorrow, to be honest, I don't think the bumper is even cracked so I'm convinced a respray will be all it needs.

Not the best way to start your day!!! Would be best to get the car checked out as bumpers are designed to flex its the metal behind that dents!! Glad you are okay

You never know? You might get lucky and the person dosn't want to put through the insurance and pay's you/garage direct? if your car is not badly damaged? not and MOT issue? parts hanging of or sharp edges and you say car's worth about £1000 just live with car as is. if he wants to pay direct you (use the quote from garage to tell him cost) it's not worth getting sorted as also your insurance premium will also go up and you will have to pay the access and then claim it back even thou not your fault. you could put the money to good use elsewhere,
