Some pictures of the boat in the solent

It's the exit from Southampton docks when they leave there is a sharp right turn, but something went wrong with the ballast tanks and started leaning so they ditched it on a sand bank to keep it up right. Southampton docks pride themselves on strapping down every vehicle, if the ship was coming the other way only every other car is strapped that would have caused a lot more damage.
 
If he hadn't have run it aground on purpose the ship would have really gone over and it would have been a whole other story.
 
Not being local I guess we don't realise how busy a port it is. The solent for me is Howards way!! full of yachts and sun(fun)shine!!
