What a brilliant turn out tonight, soo many cars, someone counted 50, although it did seem more. Soo many new (well old) american cars, not seen down there before, many classic cars, like fords and opel's. Well chuffed with the weather too. Really enjoyed tonight, hard to get around to everyone to say hi. The club is growing, new members enjoying their first cruise.

There was more police presence tonight, which is fine, if you don't do anything wrong they wont pick on you. Although warn people not to smoke the tyres or speed, some people still do it. There is soo much video evidence that goes up on youtube the police don't need to watch CCTV. The police was in hot pursuit of the Ford Escort Mexico and gave him a stiff telling off. So be careful other there.

Sarah has many great photos of the night, so they will be uploaded later.

The cruise route was a little longer tonight, mainly the same, just went along the seafront to canoe lake then came back though Palmerston road. Hope everyone else enjoyed it.

Some club members went off to halying for a coffee afterwards. Just coming out of Portsmouth on the M275 was a great sight to see, many american and classic vehicles around us.

Was good to meet you and some others, so many nice cars!

Drama? - do tell....
It was a chap driving a Ford Mexico, got pulled over for reckless driving. What he done was smoked his tyres and shot off whizzing passed me with the police chasing him, he is unlikely to do it again as he is a truck driver, and if he gets 3 points he loses his job, so he just scraped though that one with a warning. Atleast its a good warning for others. Keeps the cruise under control, after all we don't want the cruise to stop. There are soo many people taking videos and posting them on youtube, you would be foolish to do anything wrong, as it wont take much for the police to gather evidence towards particular people. Let keep this cruise safe and no encourage this behaviour.

There was a heck of a lof general public standing on the streets watching us go past, the cruise with soo many cars, is a great sight to see. I heard an old chap come out of a pub, watching the cars slowly pass him, I heard him say 'This has made my day' in a voice you could tell his eyes were welling up.

was a great turn out yet again even though there was a few other shows on earlier so well done to all that did make it :) roll on the next :)

I agree, cracking turn out, it seems to be getting bigger. I think the word is getting around that there is a cruise, people are coming from further away to take part. I will certainly get leaflets printed again next year, as its helped this year.

What a great cruise! Huge turnout with a good variation of cars. Some great pictures too, well done to Sarah!
It was a pity that a couple of the guys got pulled by the rozzers (as James May might say! lol).
Good to hear that they got away with just a stiff talking to this time though...
Let that be a warning to us all...it ain't worth it guys. Lets keep the cruise...by just cruising!

Look what I found on my car cam. The police car chasing the Mexico and Manta, and caught up with them around the corner.

I had pulled over to give someone a jump start, so it was a great place to see the action before I popped the hood as you wouldn't have seen much.
