so front and rear calipers sent away for a refurb £220 all in against motor factors wanted 200quid just for fronts exchange but also the rear discs need renewing and going to do fronts as well was going ebc drilled groved all round with pads but thats nearly 400quid so most likly mintex/apec discs and new pads but when jacking front of car up noticed rear bush on lower control arm split can get rear bush but not outer front from motor factors and new arms subaru only £167 +vat each, so ebay sell a set of 4 so can replace all bushes on front need pressing in have press. should have bush set my thursday/friday and calipers returned friday/monday Might as well do an oil changed as well Any tips dan lol,,,

so having to slum it with driving that old ford and the renault van for a little bit,

Handy you have a garage that size, you have a larger working area than many businesses.

Yes it 's nice having a garage to work in,

well the bushes turned up today not very clear in photos but big bush slit away from main part of bush , little bush as just started to split so as out might as well change as well, and ordered the rear disc's today
oil filter and gearbox filter and pads should be here by friday so then just aiting on return of all the calipers

Lol, will take the rice burner out once i have repaired it......

Yes I vote burn too.

Make sure you wear gloves, eye protection and a helmet and have a fire extinguisher to hand, dont want you ending up in hospital again.

Are yes i remember that day chris when we were doing your trans am bushes with burning them out . could burn them out or press them out as i have a press,
had e.mail to say discs will be here tomorrow and pads as well

Burning out bushings is fun. Once the old rubber is melted to a particular point the inserts can fly out with a pop! Had one fly so far it ended up in the nearby hedge!!
