Let’s look back to the 1990’s, with the dulcet tones of John Davis and Motor Week, our delightfully retro guilty indulgence. The year was 1994: General Motors was selling the (pre-facelift) fourth generation Chevrolet Camaro, with it’s rakish profile and LT1 V8. Ford had just come out with the new SN95 Mustang, featuring smoother, softer lines and a generally morn modern appearance. However, as this was ’94, Ford fans still got the 5-Oh engine, rather than the later 4.6 Modular V8, which makes ’94 Mustangs a bit of an in-between model. This Motor Week video is a bit different in that it’s filmed at Charlotte Motor Speedway, so we get to see these two pony cars duke it out in the typical 1/4 mile battles as well as around the road course. Enjoy all the 90’s goodness.
