Unnecessarily powerful pick-up trucks are a rare, tremendous delight, and the modified F-150 via Roush Performance is both of those things; it is entirely unnecessarily powerful, and quite tremendous. Roush now tells us its incorrectly spelt NITEMARE 4x4 just did 0-60mph in 3.9secs. Which in the grand pantheon of Going Really Quite Quickly", is really quite quick indeed. At least one of the trucks did that. Roush ran a pair of its modified F-150s at a drag strip in Michigan. The first one SuperCrew spec, light fuel load, Sport mode activated, locked rear diff, Conti tyres inflated to 32psi ran the gauntlet in 4.1secs.
