Good news, people of the United Kingdom. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce has arrived, and you can order one now for no less than 37,935 of your finest Great British Pounds. Remember, the Veloce is the middle-ground between the regular Giulia and the QV. When it was revealed at last year"s Paris show, Alfa said it would have all-wheel drive and be available with either petrol or diesel power. Well, it looks like UK cars will just be getting the 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder petrol with 280bhp and 296lb ft, rear-wheel drive and the very same eight-speed ZF auto as pretty much every other Giulia regular or otherwise. 0-62mph takes a respectable 5.7seconds, and the top speed is 149mph.
