The night is darkest before the dawn, The Dark Knight sagely informed us many moons ago. The Night"? The humble Dacia Sandero is now more expensive than ever. Clearly, we are living in dark times. But the Dawn" bit? It remains the cheapest new car on sale in the United Kingdom today. Hurrah! Where previously it was a literal handful of peanuts at 5,995, now it"s more like a bowl of gourmet pub peanuts, at 6,995. Dacia proudly informs us that not only is it cheap to buy, according to CAP HPI"s pence per mile" list pretty much what it says on the tin it"s the least expensive car to run in the UK, too. An actual 20.63p per mile, apparently. We presume Dacia is taking into the account the fact that you run the Sandero almost everywhere at full throttle.
