The 2019 Ford GT Heritage Edition looks tremendous. Of this there can be no doubt. Now, the very first one is being auctioned off for charity next year. Barrett-Jackson will host the sale, with United Way for Southeastern Michigan auctioning off the car with the VIN 001 inscription. A car that celebrates Ford"s famous victory over Ferrari all those years ago at Le Mans. Specifically, the cars that won Le Mans in 1968 and 1969, where the GT40s were sponsored by Gulf Oil. The 2019 GT then, picks up the same livery, along with exposed carbon fibre accents inside and out. There are also 20in one-piece forged aluminium wheels, orange brake calipers and silver rearview mirror caps.
