The General appears to be serious with a mid-engine car

Could the pic be a front engine car? Noting in the pic shouts its mid engine. I know they were thinking of doing a mid engine. I wonder if it has become true.

With both Corvette & Cadillac wanting to build one, I suspect it will happen. If you behind the cockpit you can see that typical mid-Engine design.
