At the Austrian MotoGP a few weeks ago, Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez had a heroic duel that ended with a last-ditch final corner overtake to see Dovizioso leapfrog the Repsol Honda rider and out-drag him up to the chequered flag. It was proper, proper racing; tight, exciting and one hell of a spectacle to watch. But this weekend, at the British MotoGP, the same thing happened again as Alex Rins snatched a dramatic victory on the line to pip fellow Spaniard and superhuman MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez for the win. It was epic. Marquez started from pole and led 18 of the first 20 laps of the Silverstone race, but as the heat started to play havoc with tyres, he fell into the sights of Suzuki"s Alex Rins who battled him into a final-corner move that saw the Suzuki rider out-drag Marquez to the chequered flag by 0.013 seconds.
