The brand-new mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is busy splitting opinion throughout the Interweb. Some love its angular looks and naturally-aspirated V8 powertrain, others think it looks generic and are lamenting the engine"s relocation. One thing that should unite the warring factions though is the price. That"s because Mark Reuss, president of GM, has confirmed that the base-spec Corvette will cost less than $60,000 in the US. "I know many of you will be wondering where the new Corvette will be priced. We"re not ready to announce all of the pricing details, but what I can share with you is this," said Reuss at the car"s reveal.
