This is the new Toyota Corolla, or Auris on European shores. Well, it"s a small sliver of it. Toyota"s being as coy as ever and not really showing us much of the car before its covers come off at next week"s Geneva motor show. We"re told it will have a dynamic exterior design", though, and the clues are certainly there in this picture. As well as a two-tone paint scheme a black roof sitting atop a sort of gold colour there"s a kicked-up window line and some angular-looking lights. It looks more than a little French to us, with hints of both the Renault Megane and Clio to it. Hopefully the full thing is a touch more original, but either way, it"s already the most interesting-looking Toyota hatchback since the late nineties Corolla WRC rally car.
