Here’s another category where the Kia Sorento claimed victory. But it shouldn’t come as any surprise that this large SUV performed so well, because the sector depends so much on size and space.
You are blown away by the Sorento’s flexible seating arrangement – including the availability of seven seats across most of the range – the number of interior storage spaces it has, and the amount of child-friendly features that are included. The Kia also received a high score for its boot capacity.
Second place in the category went to the Subaru Forester, which scored solidly overall, with its flexible seats generating its best score in this category. The third-place Lexus RX was popular with owners for its child-friendliness, while seat flexibility and interior storage space were also strong points.
Interestingly, this category saw four Skodas – the Kodiaq, Superb, Octavia and Karoq – appearing in the top 10, a result that certainly backs up the company’s ‘Simply Clever’ mantra on practicality.
