This week, Peugeot revealed something called the Fractal. It"s a pint-sized, convertible sports car concept which is supposed to get us excited for the future of the brand, and is a suitably bruising riposte to any accusations that this carmaker has lost its mojo.<br /><br />It"s worth pointing out then, that while most of Peugeot"s current production car range is still a little on the beige side, the firm"s concept stuff is positively out there.<br /><br />A 500bhp hot hatch. A V12-engined super coupe. A four-wheel-drive hybrid crossover with more horsepower than a BMW M3. A one-wheeled Thing. And something with a name that could only have come straight out of the 1980s: the frickin" Quasar.<br /><br />It"s a fine time then, to remind yourself that Peugeot has a fine history of wacky concept cars. Many of which appear to be bombastically powerful
