This is, quite simply, a list of the most accelerative hot hatches on sale. No complications, no caveats, but maybe a few surprises. All figures are manufacturer-quoted 0-62mph times unless otherwise specified, and are for the quickest versions of the cars pictured. Before you get clicking, how"s this for a bit of context? The quickest car here is nearly a full half-second quicker to 62mph than a Ferrari 360, which last time we checked was a proper supercar only a couple of generations off sale.
