Ford"s entry in this year"s Australian Supercars Championship might have Mustang" written on it in very large letters, but don"t let that fool you. All Aussie Supercars are based on a common platform, which was ostensibly designed to fit the bodies of big saloons like the old-school Falcon and Commodore. The Mustang is not a big saloon, which is why the proportions of Ford"s new racecar look a bit off. Ok, VERY off. Count yourselves lucky the road-going Mustang doesn"t look like this. Good wing though, and as we know the bigger the wing, the faster the car. This is Top Gear Fact.
