The Ferrari F12. With just 730bhp from its V12 engine, it"s a wonder it can drag its portly 1630kg away from a standstill. Thank the lord that Spanish tuner Bengala Automotive has developed a carbon bodykit to cut weight and actually give the thing some speed. We jest, of course. The ferocious F12 is a car that does not require a jot more performance from an improved power-to-weight ratio, but that"s probably not why Bengala has chosen to skin it in a lighter material.Nope, with just ten being made at a doubtless high cost, this is all about exclusivity and style", the inverted commas necessary as the Mansory-isation of supercars might not be your cup of tea. This car makes the ordinarily bat-s**t Ferrari F12tdf look meek.Called the F12 Caballer a, Bengala says its looks are inspired by Ferrari"s own GT3 racecars. It exists only in renders for now, but by next summer ten will have been produced, and Bengala will begin its next, as yet unnamed project. Each car it creates will never exceed ten units.Over to the wonderful words of Bengala"s boss and founder, Shoghi Saeidnia: "In most cases, uniqueness is a state of mind; we bring to our customers an interpretation of their desires, based on their dreams. Put it simply, we mastered and created a unique piece of design and engineering, the Bengala F12 Caballer a, and ten special individuals earned it."Um, yes. Mechanical details are missing, which leads us to assume the F12"s 730bhp 6.3-litre V12 is untouched. If kilos have been shaved from its kerb weight, expect slight improvements on the standard 211mph top speed and 3.1-second 0-62mph time. For now, though, it"s all about the looks. Get clicking through the pics, and tell us if you like it in the handy box below. And while you"re at it, what (if any) supercar would you like to see Bengala-ed next?
