Look here, Alpine has done a GT4 version of the A110 and boy, does it look good. Built by Alpine"s motorsport partner Signatech, the A110 GT4 shares the road car"s "lightweight aluminium chassis and double wishbone suspension", but adds motorsport-spec springs, dampers, brakes, tyres, aero and so on to bring it up to GT4 regs. The 1.8-litre turbocharged, four-cylinder engine remains but gets "significant power upgrades" and a sequential, competition gearbox. With the inevitable weight savings, this means 312bhp/tonne the maximum allowed by GT4 regs. Meanwhile a safety cage, fire extinguisher and race seat/harnesses are there should things go base over apex.
