You"ll get to see the whole car in March. Specifically, at the Geneva Motor Show on 7 March. Until then, we have only snapshots; teasers for the McLaren Super Series" replacement. So, following the giddy unveil of the new Monocage II" earlier this month - itself lighter and with lower sills and larger door apertures than before - may we present wing. Or at least a bit of wing. Specifically, a really, really close up view of the wing. We"re told that this second Super Series generation - which incorporates such wonders as the 650S, 675LT and 675LT Spider - is twice as aero efficient as the 650S. It"s got more downforce and better cooling too, and we"re promised it"ll also be quite "visually beautiful".Time for some percentages. Over to Mark Vinnels, McLaren Automotive"s exec director for product development. "A range of advanced aerodynamic technologies contributes to maximum generated downforce over 50 per cent greater than that of the McLaren 650S and ensures truly outstanding levels of grip and stability," he says. "We have also markedly improved cooling efficiency, with a 15 per cent gain overall and a particular focus on airflow to the engine"s high temperature radiators through a unique new design of dihedral door."
