In the UK at least, it seems like the Nissan Micra is seldom bought by anyone not yet eligible for their state pension. But this new one, revealed at today"s Paris Motor Show, might change things. Nissan says it represents a "complete redefinition of what Micra means", which we assume means it"s going after people who don"t qualify for a free bus pass. Good. The styling, which is reminiscent of last year"s Sway Concept, will no doubt divide opinion. Slightly, erm, rodent-y, isn"t it? There"s also quite a lot going on with that aggressive line that swoops from the headlight, up to the A-pillar and then aggressively down underneath the wing mirror to the back. But on the plus side, it is at least longer, wider and lower than the car it replaces.There"s more space inside, too. Filling it is a big 7-inch display with Apple Car Play and a fancy wraparound Bose stereo with speakers in the driver"s headrest to cocoon you into your choons. No sign of the concept"s suicide doors, though. Boo.
