It"s the Geneva motor show next week, which traditionally brings madly tuned performance cars out in force. It"s the event where the most famous (and infamous) tuning houses go elbow to elbow in the same space. TechArt is certainly feeling punchy, using Geneva to show off this, its GrandGT. It"s based on Porsche"s Panamera estate the Sport Turismo but takes all of the svelte subtlety of the production car and, well, destroys it. It"s a bold looking thing. Much of the boldness comes with its extraordinarily wide wheel arches, the rears looking particularly pumped up. The regular Panamera Sport Turismo is hardly slender, and TechArt has decided to make absolutely sure you"ll detour around width restrictors and give more vintage multi-storey car parks a miss.
