The Jaguar F-Type is not slow. As an SVR it has 567bhp, a 200mph-plus top speed and a 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds. Fast, we"re sure you"ll agree.But not fast enough for Warwickshire-based tuner VIP Design, which claims its Project Predator" is the world"s most powerful Jaguar F-Type.How much power? A wholesome 650bhp, which makes the Predator good for an annoyingly unspecific "200mph-plus" top speed, like JLR"s own SVR. VIP tells us it"s testing the 0-60mph time this week. The kit, which can be fitted to rear- and all-wheel drive F-Types, costs from 12,600 atop the car"s RRP, obviously and features many go-faster bits. As well as new high-flow air filters, there"s a new pulley and more boost for the supercharger, plus a software upgrade for the F-Type"s brain.
