Yes, indeed. And it"s been a long time coming. Michimasa Fujino, CEO of Honda Aircraft Co., has been dreaming about a Honda for the skies since the mid-1980s. And luckily for him, he"s a lifer at the only car manufacturer brave or barmy enough to do it.Mind you, it"s tempting to think of Honda almost as an accidental car company, given that it"s into AI, domestic hydrogen power hubs, lawnmowers, and virtually everything you can think of in between.It all goes back to the main man, Soichiro Honda. There"s a famous picture of him trying a jet-pack, and the company he started back in 1946 still thinks big. (Just don"t mention the current McLaren Formula One imbroglio.)
