The set of a Transformers movies might be the only place that the Chevrolet Corvette plays second fiddle to the Chevrolet Camaro. But when the Camaro turns into one of the main characters, not to mention an adorable and loving robot, there’s not much a C7 could do.A couple of months ago, director Michael Bay released the first images of the newly redesigned Bumblebee Camaro for the upcoming movie Transformers: The Last Knight. The filmmakers gave it a creepy new Joker smile, along with plenty of aero, and a new set of wheels. This week, Autoblog got its hands on some new spy photos of the filming, and this time Bee was accompanied by a fellow Chevy, the Vette, and a Mercedes-AMG GT R.The Corvette plays the Autobot character Crosshairs and was seen in the last Transformers movie, Age of Extinction, but it has a slightly new look. The green Vette gets a a new hood, a front splitter, side skirts, and a massive rear wing. Over the bright paint, the Autobot also has black accents and a spiky graphic on its side. Bay tweeted out a look at what Crosshairs will look like after he’s transformed:The only part of him that"s green is his color. #transformers pic.twitter.com/r7kM0BqFsY Michael Bay (@michaelbay) August 7, 2016The Last Knight comes out next summer.
