Up for sale is a completely unmolested 1958 Edsel Corsair 4 door sedan.<br />
It is as if time had stood still.<br />
As far as can be seen with very close scrutiny, there has never been any paintwork done to this beautiful old icon.<br />
OK, with a few small marks which are history to this 58 year old car there is no sign of any accident repair work with no visible filler and every piece of stainless moulding is here. All door cards are good and so is the back seat in original material..<br />
There is a small crack to the passenger side windshield and one in the driver"s side window.<br />
It starts and drives like a much younger car should with no smoke and no scary noises.<br />
Given the recorded mileage, this old V8 and auto box (gearshift on a tree) is still in it"s prime.<br />
The recorded mileage is only 65,590 and have no reason to believe otherwise.<br />
The driver"s side front floor pan will need a small plate where the left foot would be and the front seat which is a bench will need resurrection.<br />
The rest of the floor and boot floor is in excellent condition and doesn"t need any work.<br />
All the correct hub caps are there and there is a brand new set of tyres fitted, and a brand new battery with new terminal clamps.<br />
As far as I can tell everything on the car works.<br />
If you are into 50"s classics, then this would be a very easy quick restoration as all the panels are so very straight. No visible rust in any of the door shuts.<br />
Will need a replacement carpet of the correct to finish the enhancement. <br />
Sensible offers are invited and I will take a part exchange, but only fifties, sixties or seventies American classics.<br />
