The new Porsche 911 Speedster - confirmed for production for 211,599 - has a roof. Lots of cars - if not, dare say, most of them - have roofs. The 911 Speedster"s however, retracts, using electricity and good old fashioned manual labour. To coincide with news of the 991-based Speedster"s production announcement, and indeed that price, Porsche has also revealed the lengths future owners will go to in order to relieve said roof from its closed position. Considering the Speedster has a naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre engine producing quite a lot of horsepower and making a rather pleasing noise (it revs to 9,000rpm, after all), you"ll no doubt remove the roof once, superglue it closed and enjoy said noise for eternity.
