For Top Gear"s 2016 Speed Week, we corralled together some of the world"s finest and fastest performance cars to max out at the daunting Red Bull Ring in Austria.But for our closing piece, we decided to come over all U S of A. Yup, a drive in an unfiltered, raw, 700bhp NASCAR. Step forward, TG mag deputy editor Jack Rix, instilled not only with excitement, but much, much fear. Especially after an, um, reassuring set of instructions from the boss of the Red Bull Ring"s Driving Experiences."OK you"re all set, enjoy yourself out there," Bernhard Auinger notes, casually."Just remember that the brakes aren"t great, plus there"s a lot of front-bias to help with burnouts, and there"s no ABS and no traction control either. Oh, and watch out on the first two laps while the tyres are cold, it will want to oversteer. Everywhere.
