The Pagani Huayra BC is named after Horacio Pagani"s first ever customer, Benny Caiola. It is a special edition, hardcore version, utilising that familiar 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12, here uprated to 789bhp and 811lb ft of torque. Plenty, then. That V12 is piped through a titanium exhaust system that weighs just 2.9kg - 7.1kg lighter than before - with power sent through a single clutch auto box and out to the rear wheels.Rear wheels that are kept in check by a special team working over at Bosch, who help develop safety and braking control systems for Pagani. And as part of the Huayra BC"s testing, the company took a prototype out to some ice in Sweden. Cue lots of slow-motion sliding. "The philosophy of our vehicles is a combination between art and science, technology and design, performance and uncompromising safety," explains boss Horacio.Have a watch of the video above, and then click here for Top Gear"s first drive of the limited edition (just 20 will be built), 2.3m Pagani Huayra BC.
