Volvo Selekt is the name of the Swedish brand's approved used car scheme. The highest-mileage car we saw was an XC60 from 2016 with 90,000 miles on the clock.
All cars come with a 12-month unlimited mileage warranty, although models over five gets six months’ cover – extending it costs extra. Cars under three years old are covered by the standard warranty, but 12 months is added if the car is more than two years old.
The exchange policy is more generous than most, as it runs to 30 days or 1,500 miles, but Volvo only allows one swap. Before sale, each car undergoes a 150-point inspection and MOT cover is provided. Should the car fail, Volvo will pay to rectify it.
