Its HPE1000 Supercharged Upgrade swaps out the LT1 for a 6.8-liter stroker with forged pistons and adds hardcore hardware such as a high-flow blower, a hydraulic roller camshaft upgrade, extreme-duty pushrods, and 1.75-inch long-tube headers. Those changes more than double the Stingray’s horsepower to – you guessed it – 1,000 and boost torque to a pavement-rippling 887 pound-feet.
