Hardly a month goes by without a performance car cast in Lego doing the rounds online. No surprise, really, when the Danish brick dealer made a Caterham 620R model after a fan proposed one via Lego Ideas. The latest to gather some momentum is the BMW M3 in its iconic, original E30 form. As an idea, it"s fantastic. In reality, it probably needs some polishing, but there"s a lot of promise here. Particular highlights are its ingenious solution for a handbrake, the choice of sunroof (glass, body coloured, or, um, no sunroof) and differing wheels and tail lights.
