This week"s Throwback commercial features a class project by Keith Cantrell for Directing and Cinematography class at Taylor University and the object of his project was the 1999 Chevrolet Camaro. As "class project commercials" go, this is one of the best that I have seen in terms of production quality and that is likely the most important aspect of the piece although the car chosen raises some questions. As you can see, the 1999 Chevrolet Camaro in the commercial clearly hasn"t been washed before the filming and it might not have been waxed in its entire life. It"s got some strangely offset blue stripes one of which appears to have been applied over a rust spot on the hood and the steering wheel hasn"t been set straight, which is a big pet peeve of mine. With all of that aside, this short spot highlights the design features of the 1999 Camaro inside and out, with some rousing backdrop music so crank up your speakers and enjoy! This week"s Throwback commercial features a class project by Keith Cantrell for Directing and Cinematography class at Taylor University and the object of his project was the 1999 Chevrolet. As "class project commercials" go, this is one of the best that I have seen in terms of production quality and that is likely the most important aspect of the piece although the car chosen raises some questions. As you can see, the 1999 Chevrolet in the commercial clearly hasn"t been washed before the filming and it might not have been waxed in its entire life.
