Back in 2014, a Porsche 911 Turbo S managed to race up Pikes Peak big scary car, big scary mountain in 10m 26.9s. In 2019, Bentley decided to deploy its own big scary car to said mountain to record a course time some eight seconds faster. Now, you can see just what it looks like from the driver"s point of view, because Bentley has released a new on-board video of its Pikes Peak record run. That"s right, a Continental GT now holds the, um, production car record at Pikes Peak. Rhys Millen secured a time of 10m 18.488s. It"s a long old course, taking in 156 turns and covering nearly 12 and a half miles.
