The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS with the LT1 V8 is an awesome machine, but it isn"t the quickest or the fastest muscle car on the market today. With an official, NHRA-certified quarter mile time of 10.80 (with drag radial tires) and a top speed of 199 miles per hour, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has both of those claims in stock form, but with a little help from the folks at Hennessey the 2016 Camaro SS will beat the Challenger in both the quarter mile and the top speed shootout.The Hennessey HPE750 package adds a massive cylinder head build and a TVS2300 supercharger, lifting the output from 455 to 751 horsepower while the torque level jumps to 641 lb-ft of torque. When fitted with a set of drag radial tires, the HPE750 Camaro can blast down the quarter mile in just 10.7 seconds and on a high speed run, it will hit an awesome 202 miles per hour.To show off their 200 mph muscle car, the team at Hennessey made a video of that record run so crank up your speakers and enjoy!
