There"s drifting, and then there"s drifting. The latter involves serious angles, plumes of tyre smoke and purpose-built cars with ludicrously powerful engines and suspension like you"ve never seen before. Cars like the twin-turbocharged Ferrari 599 that burnt to a yellow, Pininfarina-styled crisp at the Long Beach round of this year"s Formula Drift season a couple of weeks ago. And cars like these two Mustang RTRs, which you absolutely must watch right this very second, and with the volume turned right the way up get exceptionally sideways (sometimes on three wheels) at what looks like the Virginia International Raceway.
