I made a bit of a bad mistake on Tuesday 16th, while checking some forum settings, i somehow managed to change a setting, which effects the caching of the website, now this should all be fine either way the setting is, however in the other position it jams up the website, you cant view anything.
This setting is stored in the SQL database. there are around 270 tables in this database, one of them is called Settings, I restored this table with an earlier version, but it still didn't fix it. I also restored a few other tables, but still no luck. After an hour of it not working, I was really forced to restor the whole database from a backup at 1am that morning.
This means all posts on the the 16th between 1am and 11pm were lost. Also any images that were uploaded to the album gallery too. Sorry about that. This shouldn't happen again.
Usually a partial database restore would do the trick, it was being very awkward this time.
