What The Skeletons Of Famous Cartoon Characters Would Look Like!

A great thing about cartoons is that biology and physics do not really apply. Artists can draw any creature in any way to build an individual character. To create these characters you do need some creative talent, but to sit there, wonder what the anatomy of these characters look like is something else!

Hyungkoo Lee, a South Korean artist thought exactly that, and created them!

Lee created these sculptures using wire, aluminum sticks, resin and paint and brought them to life. He sculptured some our most beloved animated characters which we would have grown up with. Each animal he sculptured represented the characters exaggerated features perfectly and the end result is pretty impressive.

In the summer of 2008 Lee's exhibition "Animatus" was held at the Natural History Museum in Basel, Switzerland.

Instead of having these character's skeletons stood all uniform Lee has placed them in an action pose that any one of us would recognise after watching the cartoons on the television.

The depicted scenes include Donald Duck falling from the sky, his three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie searching for adventure. Wile E. Coyote of course trying to get his paws on Road Runner. Not forgetting Disney's Goofy (one of my favourites), Tom & Jerry and Felix The Cat!
