Its certainly not a handling feature, we saw a car a VW polo with really bad camber, rims sticking out the edge of the tyres, he was going around the corners slower than the diesel fiesta. He just couldn't get traction, not surprising as only about 1 inch square of the tyre is actually in contact with the road rather that 6x1 inch. How can they think this modification gives them any benefit.
Should be an MOT failure!! If they have trouble driving like that due to low traction, their stopping distance would greatly increase too!.
