Its a con, as far as I can see it something that thinks the original Wheels day is dead, and starting up another show with a similar name. There is still a chance that the Surrey Street Rodders are going to do another show. So why call a show Wheels Day 2, with loads of spelling mistakes on the facebook page and do it on good Friday.... Just jumping on creating a show making people think its the real organisers. Although its more local for us, I will go to the REAL one when it comes back.

Don't fall for it, its nothing to do with Wheels Day, the chap hasn't even spoken to the Surrey Street Rodders, and said "if the Rodders are interested they can join forces". Well I will be doing the real one when it comes back. I would also fear they would let in any sort of cars, including the ones you see in supermarkets.

Going to keep my opinions about this to myself at the moment as i have mixed feelings. Will wait and see what develops and then go from there.

They have now changed the name.....SRR got in contact with the organiser. Personally, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the actual wheels day. And also, this guy who's trying to organise a big show has promised 'No Queues'......that'll never happen....not to mention he spelt it 'cues'.

From what I've read they haven't received much positive feedback.

So .... is the original wheels day going to re surface ?? I wonder !! Can anyone get any answers from the ssr dont know and as for as the spelling mistakes, minor detail !! I have read some of the reports on here and they are not spelt correctly either, but on a happier note, its club night tomorrow and my Colin is again legal. So chill out and if wheels day comes back I hope you all have a lovely time and if it doesnt then hey ho, its not the end of the world, life is too short my lovelies . xxx

SSR will be doing something for Wheels Day, and they got a bit annoyed that this chap tried taking the name. Anyway, not much is known about the SSR Wheels day like venue and how it will be organised (ie pre registration only) but Wheels Day will happen according to SSR.

Disgusting that someone does that - let's hope it's a flop and they get moaned at and sworn at - see how they like it.

I'm keeping everything crossed that they do. A lot of clubs have offered their support in any way needed, and I can't imagine they'd stop putting on a great day. It would be a great shame.
