Working from Home

I'm my shed/office today. Mainly as a trail to see how things work out. The chap i work with is off today, and he is retiring in May, so there is no real reason to keep the Waterlooville office open if i can work from home.

So I am all set up in the shed, on wifi, connected to the servers in the States, got my Skype headset ready, and currently working on the same stuff I normally would in the office. I don't know if i will always work in the shed or convert one of the spare rooms to an office. One main draw back is carrying out the laptop and screen from the house as I'm not leaving it in the shed. i may convert the little bedroom, which has all the club stuff in it, 6 boxes of club clothing, 2 gazebos, sand bags and much more...

Personal experience with home working demonstrated to me that the more separation you can give between your working environment and normal home comforts, the better it is and the more productive you are.
YMMV!
