Usually always falls on a sunny sunday. someone mentioned to me the other day that they didn't think that Worthing car show would be on this year. Well all checked and confirmed that it is on this year July 26th, so all good.
Plenty of time to get them cars cleaned. Always look forward to this one, a nice drive down there.

Meeting the same as last year as it seemed to work well, We are meeting at the A27 Little Chef Services (Between Emsworth and Chi) and leaving there at 8.30am sharp!

It's 100% on......I've had emails from both Tony Holley and Stephen Coe from the Worthing Lions confirming it back in March. I must have missed putting it on the forum? :(

Going to be a cracking day!!
 
Splendid. Should be a nice cruise down there, we had a good convoy last year. I wonder if we can top that.
I will clean my tail pipes before I go, as it seems to make it rain when I clean them at Worthing. It was a clear sky, Pete B said don't clean my pipes it will make it rain. I said there is n chance of that, no clouds. Well 10mins later clouds appeared and it rained. :mmph:
 
The rumour is still circling facebook that there will be no Worthing Rod and Custom Show this year. The organisers facebook page says it is on.

So there you go, the organisers are saying the American custom vehicles are on the Sunday. This was a message from the 14th May. I guess there is always a chance that the person who controls their facebook page could be incorrect. Awaiting an email back from the organisers to confirm anyway.

so its the same show but moved a day forward ? this is one of my favourite shows of the year so I hope its going to be just as good !!

Not the same show, different organisers. Same venue. Its mainly advertised for classic cars, but will accept American, but you have to pre-book.

guys just to correct any mis-understanding.....as of today 29/06/2015 the sunny sunday revival american, rod and custom show is happening on sunday 26th july 2015 and is under new management......
I can be contacted on proconsul@sky.com there is no pre entry this year due to time constraints but if your bringing a car can you email details so we can gauge numbers.....

the saturday show which is being organised by the lions steve coe is mainly a british and european classic car show.
apparently your welcome to attend both BUT if you decide to come on Sunday instead of Saturday and you have already got a saturday show number please let me know as he would like to re issue it

Many of us have pre-entered for the Saturday, but not heard back, perhaps they are full. personally if I hear back I'm going to both.
Sunday is not pre-entry, just first come first served, they would like an idea of numbers coming.

*cough cough* Anyway, back on subject....I am contemplating going as I enjoyed it on my last visit and would be attending Sunday. This is still up in the air...but has been put down in my calendar. :bq34:
 
Not long now, its come around quick. This Sunday coming.

Leaving Little Chef(think its called something else now) services on A27 nr Emsworth at 8.30am. Usual meeting place for Worthing.
 
Yep sure is. It was cancelled by the original organiser, but someone else has taken over. So yes all back on. See you there.
 
Weather dry at the moment. Rain was forecast for the weekend, they had a great day yesterday, so let hope we have similar weather.
Just about to be on our way to the meeting place. Need fuel not filled up since Friday and didn't use it yesterday.
