Hi ALL, as follows, I would like to offer for sale,The Mercury is a 1956 Mercury Monterey 4 door sedan Project car, I am the first registered owner in the UK , It came from a dry state Atlanta Georgia, it starts drives and stops, goes through all gears ok, leaves a few oil spots on garage floor but nothing serious, she has had a recent interior, new head lining, new carpets and seats retrimmed, new fuel tank, new shocks and brakes all round, new tyres, and a brand new twin exhaust system, the carb I was told has been rebuilt but still needs an electric choke fitting, or you could change to a manual choke as I was going to do. Other parts I have imported to fit are as follows, New dizzy cap, 8 x spark plugs, Ignition lead set, fuel sender unit ( other was faulty) nothing is missing from the car it is totally complete, faulty boot lid button and there is no handbrake cable fitted at the moment, I have only owned this car about a year. <br />
