Super rare 3 Door 1957 Plymouth Custom Suburban Station Wagon.

Original and unmolested solid usable fifites Mopar station wagon, you"ll see plenty of Ford and Chevy wagons at the shows but i doubt you"ll see another one of these in a hurry. Starts right up and runs and drives well. 301ci V8 (i"m told) and 2 speed push button transmission.

The body is generally tidy, typical older American driver quality paintjob with a few blemishes here and there, chrome is decent original. Underneath the floors and rocker panels are solid, there are a few small historic repairs but nothing major, the rockers still have the original drain holes present. The tailgate and rear tub are super solid

Interior is original and worn, has wear to the door cards, front seat and cargo area but is all complete and wouldnt cost the earth to freshen up. This was a low spec model with radio delete and floor mat instead of carpet.

The motor starts right up and runs well, it gives a little puff of smoke on fire up but is fine after that. The transmission drops into gear fine and changes up and down fine. Ive used the car locally recently and it drives fine with no dramas and gets a lot of attention. All the guages work. The heater works. The generator was just rebuilt.

You dont see fifites Mopar wagons often, especially 2 doors and rarely at this price point, it does need a little tlc but its pefectly usable as is, a good candidate for a rolling resto. I was told the brakes had been gone through a couple of years ago, they have the usual Mopar feel but pull up well and the propshaft handbrake works well.

This wont hang around long, call me for an honest description, email for detailed photos and walk around video.
