1963 Lark Cruiser R1 Sedan
- This is a genuine factory Avanti powered car and the top of the line model in the Lark series. In 1963 Studebaker decided to make the heavy duty high performance motors that came standard in the Avanti available in all passenger cars. Not many of these were produced and they are all genuine muscle cars.
This car is a genuine Green Mist car with 289ci V8, 4 Barrell Carburettor, colum shift automatic with 1st gear take off, power steering, disc brakes, rear sway bar, tinted glass and airconditioning.
Previously this car was owned by Carl Thoms of Studebakers West in Redwood City San Franciso and used by him for many years as his road car. The Thoms brothers are the best servicing agents for Studebaker in the San Francisco bay area. The looks a little shabby and could use repainting, but it drives exceptionally well and has some excellent options that you just don"t find on these models. Larks are one of my favorite Studebakers as they are the best driving car Studebaker ever made. With the R Series motors, they just go a lot harder.
Ready for UK registration with all European EU Duties and taxes paid.
