Welcome to my listing for my fantastic 66 Ford Galaxie 500.<br />

Where to start with this car? <br />
Recently imported this year by myself. <br />
As an expensive hobby, I buy and import a few vehicles a year that need some fettling, do the work with my dad and find them new homes, and hopefully make a few quid on the way

This, as it turns out didn"t need a lot of work, bought purely on love at first sight and the fact I"ve always liked galaxies! I"d love to keep this one but in reality I only have room for 2 toys and I"ve got a 66 coronet and a 67 impala that I can"t bear to part with!<br />

This galaxie still has its original 289 motor, although nicely warmed up!<br />
Has aftermarket "world" iron heads, "world" roller rockers, cam, a brand new 4 barrel edelbrock carb, edelbrock intake, headers, msd ignition and an exhaust note to die for!<br />
<br />
As you can tell the car has been lowered and has a fantastic stance, further to this it has uprated anti roll bars front and rear, and please believe me, this thing handles like it"s on rails, no pitch, wallow, bounce, nothing. Point it at a corner and consider it done! Very confidence inspiring.<br />
C4 auto with shift kit that changes up and down really nice and tight.<br />
In the rear, a set of 2.90 gears mean you can cruise at 80 at just under 3000 rpm<br />

Although she came from New York, this car is unbelievably solid.<br />
The rear arches are like new, the chassis, floors, outriggers ect are awesome, it"s like a bombproof bunker under there, you will not find a more solid car! Never been welded, and will never need any! I purchased the car from the second owner and it"s lead a pampered life!<br />

The paint is great, has a couple of very small chips here and there but shines very well and is a nice finish. The whole colour scheme is not only unusual, it just looks fabulous, the pictures don"t do it justice, you need to see the car to fully appreciate it!<br />

Inside, the car has all the original interior and is in beautiful condition, all the electrics work well, hot heater, lights, wipers, gauges, the lot. The only down side on the whole car is some seam separation on the base of the front bench, everything else is fantastic!<br />

Comes with a years mot, all the relevant paperwork, all she needs is registering.<br />

I think this is fairly priced, I only source nice cars, not over-patina"d, over priced crap! I am open to sensible negotiation but please be sensible!<br />
