This is a numbers matching 1969 Impala 427, 2 door hardtop coupe. The car is badged as an SS and I"ve carried out some research that would suggest that this is not correct, however it is a numbers matching 427/335hp car.

The hideaway headlights have been added, probably from a Caprice and all factory parts have been used including the switch. The installation of all the vacuum lines and hardware looks factory and has been done very well.

The paint is nice and looks like it"s been wet sanded and polished. There is no rust and only a couple of small wear related chips and marks. The bumpers are in fair condition and have some small scrapes. The interior is in good condition and everything works, including the AC.

I have the original Protect-O-Plate, owners manual and other documents.

I imported this car at the end of 2015. I replaced the floor pans because they were bad on the inside, probably due to a heater matrix leak and wet carpet. These have been properly fitted and all original brackets re-used. They have been undercoated and the inside painted first with a full coat of anti-rust primer and then two coats of satin black. I then added a layer of closed cell foil backed foam underlay to reduce noise and heat.

Other work I have completed includes:
-Anti drip valve which controls washer flow between the windshield and headlights
-Wiper motor and washer pump
-Quartz digital clock movement
-Speedo cable housing seal
-Door jamb and console light switches
-Brake master cylinder
-Fresh air vent cables

Mechanicals:
-427cu in matching numbers. Casting #3963512. Pad # T1127LE 19R033691. VIN 164479R033691
-TH400 transmission
-12 bolt rear end
-Power steering
-Power brakes with front discs
-15" Rally wheels with Firestone Indy 500 tyres. 255/70 rear and 235/70 front.
-Air con blows cold
-Dual exhaust
-Optima battery

This is a very nice car, fully sorted and ready to drive. It has a great look and is imposing on the road. The engine runs lovely and smoothly, starts on the button and sounds great.

I"m happy to accommodate viewings for serious buyers and the car is located near Paglesham, Essex.
The car is sold as is, collection is down to the buyer and funds must be paid in full before it leaves my sight.
