This week"s Burnout video features some late-night, tire-slaying action by a Cadillac CTS-V at the TX2K16 event. We don"t have specifics on this particular Caddy, but we know it started life with a supercharged V8 delivering 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque. In stock form, the CTS-V with the blown LS engine sounds very good, but this supercharged Cadillac sounds quite a bit louder and quite a bit more evil than the car on your local showroom floor. The video starts as the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V is either finishing up a short burnout, or trying to do a burnout with the traction control on. In either case, it isn"t very impressive. However, with some encouragement from the crowd, the driver takes a second swipe at a burnout, and the result is a thing of beauty.Between the gorgeous sound of the LSA roaring and the massive amounts of smoke pouring from under the Cadillac, this is a video you’ll watch more than once.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Tags: Burnout Fridays, Cadillac, CTS-V
