He was a cult figure in the 70s and 80s, did a programme called "The Joy of Painting" which is being repeated at the moment with a massive following. Incredible to watch him paint, so talented, but unfortunately his finished paintings are also very dated and look like something left over at a jumble sale.
He is amazing. Pucks up a paint brush you would paint your fence with and does these awesome paintings of mountains and fur trees. Soo much detail with a massive brush.

You look at some of the stuff he does and think "Mate, you really didn't want to do that" and within 30 seconds it's a log cabin with a chimney and a little path leading up to it.
