The Abbotts Ann event is held on the 30th August 2014. This year?s Abbotts Ann car show ?The Abbotts Ann Festival of Motoring? still reflects the enthusiasm and the eclectic mix of vehicles that people in the area have and are interested in.
If you haven?t been before, the Abbotts Ann Car Festival of Motoring is set in deepest Hampshire in a beautiful picturesque village surrounded by country side with interesting walks. Many classic and American vehicles attended the car show.

As part of the show, and adjacent is the famous annual Abbotts Ann Fete with a range of activities including Coconut shire, Bric a Brac, Freshly cooked Food, a bar with a selection of real ales, a Dog show, Fly casting demonstrations, and various other traditional activities, so there is plenty to do, and it?s not just all cars Bikes and contraptions.

A great convoy of cars, went up last year. There are a few events on the same day this year though.

If you are up for it, we are meeting on the hill to leave at 10:30am.

This sounds like fun so will see if we can either change or postpone the George & Falcon

Yes it would be nice to do both. It will be great to get some numbers at the George & Falcon, and with soo many going to Abotts Ann last year it will impact on the George & Falcon attendance.

I have contacted Catherine to see if we can make it later in the year. Without cars there would be a shame if they go to so much effort. Might be a nice autumn day out instead plus Abbotts Ann lookd good too. So many things to do these days :)

Yeah, soo much on and not enough weekends, some days have like 4 things going on. I've printed out 20 hand outs for tonight. I saw you added an event on the facebook page so that's now on the forum, that is on the list to be emailed out tonight. the reason for sending tonight, is in case there is any edits to be made on the handouts :p
Abbotts and was a surprisingly good turn out last year, and a nice drive up there Cuda Carl had a problem with his car on the M3, so had to be recovered. Last time I went, I had the little man sitting on my lap all the way up, he enjoyed it up there, although I had to keep him undercover when they done the bird of prey demonstration up there.

I'm going, and Sarah, (one car) The couple with the Silver Blackbird will be going, not sure which vehicles they are taking, they have a mustang and a truck to choose from too. A few people have shown interest, so we will see on the day. The White Plymouth Cuda will be there if weather is good.

We are meeting Jean & Alan (Blackbird) on the M3 Jct12 (coming off the motorway to rejoin so they can tag on.

Main meeting point at Micks Burger van to leave around 10.30am.

Getting closer to the event, I'm looking forward to one a little further away like this. Should be a good turn out for their village fete.

As you guys will approach from the South and us from the North, I guess we will meet you there?
Is there a club stand or just park as arrive?

Should be OK for this one, not too early a start, will be at the hill for 10;:30 ish.

Nothing is formally booked as a club pitch as such, but I said we had around 14 cars last year, and fingers crossed for the same this year. We were the only group of american vehicles there, the rest were classic.
I do have the club flag to make it look that bit more official. :)

Sorry guys we are going to have to pass on tomorrow :(

See you soon ;)

okey dokey, no to worry. Did you get to clean your car in the end?
There will be lots of photos fingers crossed the weather stays good

No o I didn't get to clean her but that isn't the reason we aren't coming he he :) :)

Yeah - make sure you pick it up Sarah ;) :)

Well I've planned the roiute in my mine, but how much will i remember. lol.

Must rmemeber to come off Jct12 on M3 and get back on again, as we have some members waiting there.
Then onto the A34, look for A303, and take the first slip road not the second.
Stay on A303 for a couple of junctions, Come off on A343, head south, go over a roundabout, keep going past a car dealership, come to a cross roads with a little white house on the left, take a right, you should be on Duck St, 3rd Left off Duck St is Bulbery, the part is in the corner of that looping road.
So I remember all this now, but will be fuzzy when I get to Micks on the hill. lol.

Last year on the way to Abbotts Ann I had Bailey on my arm/car door, looking out of the window, asking if we are there yet...
